How to use the PAYE Calculator

Our PAYE tax calculator will help you work out how much PAYE will be deducted from your umbrella rate. Simply enter the following information and we calculate your PAYE for you:

  1. Enter your umbrella rate in the salary box above.
  2. Enter your tax code for a more accurate calculation. If you are unsure, leave it blank and the default code will be applied.
  3. When you are done, click on the “Calculate” button. Our “Pay as you earn calculator” will show you your take-home pay, tax, and NI.

Our PAYE calculator uses tax information from the current tax year (6 April 2022 to 5 April 2023).
