Cool Company charges a margin for the administration of the payroll. A margin of £22.50 is deducted from the invoice total before the deductions of tax.

An umbrella company accommodates contract workers who do not want to set up their own limited company or have responsibility for the administration of self-employment taxes. The umbrella company will be your employer and pay you via PAYE.

Yes, in the UK, the majority of Umbrella Contractors source assignments via recruitment agencies. We can also work direct with end-clients too!
Depending on the agency we may be required too. Either way, we have a process to work with all agency processes to ensure you get paid on time.
You will need to record your time in our system, and we will invoice your agency/ client. Once we receive the funds, we pay you the same day.

Yes, you will receive a payslip each time we pay you.
Once we receive the payment, our system will send you a message confirming the payment has been received and paid to you.
No, as your employer we provide insurance cover for you.
